Evan QuinnWelcoming Class of 2010 Stretto alumnus, Evan Quinn, to officially kick off our monthly "Alumni Spotlight" series! Evan graduated from Princeton Day School in 2010 and played with Stretto for 6 years. By his senior year, he was Principal Cello and the Student Assistant Conductor. He was also part of a string quartet with alums Daniel Safford, Farshad Tahvildar-Zadeh, and Priscilla Allman, for whom Stretto commissioned a string quartet their senior year. Tell us about your life! Where are you now and what are you up to? I am living in Atlanta, GA and working as a Financial Advisor. My wife, Krista, works for Delta Air Lines. We have lived in Atlanta for about 3 years and just recently bought our first house. I am still playing the cello and doing music arrangements in my free time, but not as much as I should be! What is a fun fact about you? I have perfect pitch. And my favorite thing to do when I go back to NJ is go to Hoagie Haven. What's your favorite Stretto memory? All the Europe tours were amazing, but I'd have to say my favorite moment was performing Mozart's Requiem with the local school orchestra and choir in Essen, Germany (I think this was in 2005). Thank you so much to Evan Quinn! Stay tuned for our next alumni spotlight!
